FAMILY MINISTRY
Regarding God's words: "Teach them to your children, speaking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and gates, so that as long as the heavens are above the earth, your days and those of your children may be multiplied in the land that the LORD swore to give your fathers." Deuternomy 11:19-21
The first institution established by God was the family. God's good plan is for the family to be a place of learning about, worshipping, and experiencing God! Parents are commanded in Proverbs 22 to, "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." The Gathering's Family Ministry is eager to come alongside parents in beginning and maintaining this life-giving plan of education and worship within the home.
